This evergreen divine shrub produces beautifully scented flowers. These flowers blossom during early spring and late winter. The fragrance is exquisite and some even think that it has the smell of coconut. This strikingly attractive flower is also known as Coconut Magnolia. The plant has large evergreen shiny leaves that develop densely, enough to make a 3-metre privacy screen. It also grows well in a watered and a fed container. Michelia Coco should be grown in a final location as it doesn’t like to be moved. It likes to be well fed with organic matter and the base should be mulched every year. The shrub spreads exuberance through its colour and glorious scent.
