DESCRIPTION: Small, bushy, Australian nut tree reaching 5m
tall and 4m wide when mature (approx. 12 years). During Spring,
a profusion of long pink flowers covers the tree and these are
followed by many large macadamia nuts. Flushes of new leaves
during the growing season are also pink.
CONDITIONS: Suited to most soils in full sun or part shade.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Water well during hot or dry weather to
improve crop yields. Fertilise sparingly in late Spring and Autumn
with a low phosphorus fertiliser.
