Leptospermum Petersonii is a native tree of Australia with a shrubby growth habit. The new leaves appear in copper-bronze colour. It produces tiny white flowers in early summers that adorns the tree. Leaves release a citrus scent when crushed. Petersonii grows well in a sunny to partly shaded areas and suits most soils (potting mix, sandy, clay loam, clay, sandy loam or poor soils). This plant is great for coastal gardens, cottage garden, courtyard, containers or pool sides. It is frost and drought tolerant.
