A useful evergreen tree with aromatic foliage.
FEATURES: A lovely large tree with a dense canopy of glossy, crinkly stiff
leaves. The aromatic foliage is well known for its culinary uses. During
Spring, small creamy-yellow flowers are produced. Bay trees are also
useful as a tub specimen where their shape and size can be maintained
through regular pruning
CONDITIONS: Prefers well-drained soil in full sun. Mulch well to enrich
the soil, conserve soil moisture and suppress weeds
FOR BEST RESULTS: Provide regular irrigation during hot or dry weather
particularly during establishment. Feed with an all-purpose fertiliser during
early Spring and Autumn.
