Ficus carica 'White Genoa' FIG Mild flavour red, yellow-green skinn ed fruit with amber flesh. Fruits early Summer and late Autumn on a medium-sized tree and makes good jam.
FEATURES: Fast growing, self-fertile, deciduous trees to approx. 3-5m tall and bearing masses of tasty fruit thr oughout the warmer morths.
CONDITIONS: Ficus caricaÃ‚Â White Genoa Prefers a light, well drained, neutral soil in fill sun.
FOR BEST RESULTS: While they pre fer a warm, dry climate, they appreciate plenty of water while the fuit is developing. Plant into well work ed soil, incorpora ting fer tiliser and'or compost. Water in well and keep moist during establishment. Light pruning may be useful to rejuvenate the plant as fruit is produced an new wood.
