Dwarf Citrus Orange Washington Navel 5L A large, early ripening, seedless and easy to peel orange. Fruit hasa rich and sweet flavour. Trees grow 5-10m and have deep greenfoliage. Sweetly scented white orange blossom appears in spring.SITE CONDITIONS: A warm, sunny position with fertle, well-drained soil isessential. Most climatic regions are suitable so long as frosts are mild only.CARING FOR YOUR TREE: Avoid damaging the roots and lower trunk toprevent disease entry. Water well during dry periods. Mubh the area, tokeep roots cool and suppress weeds, leaving a 25mm gap around the trunk.Fertilise usinga citrus fertiliser as directed.PLANT IN G: Cultivate to the depth of the plants container over an area threetimes its diameter. In poorly drained soil cultivate shallowly over a large areaa nd above it ma ke a raised mound of free-draining soil as deep as the plant'scontainer. Remove the pant from the container without damaging the rootsor lower trunk. Do not tease the roots out Make a hole in the centre of thecultivated area, or mound, and position the plant in it so that the soil and thetop of the root ball are at exactly the same level. After backfilling around thetree, gently firm the soil down and apply enough water to soak the area to thefull depth of the roots.
