Flamevine or Pyrostegia Ignea is an evergreen climber plant that produces eye-pleasing and angelic orange tubular flowers during the winter and spring season ( February, March, and April). Belongs to the family of Bignoniaceae and native to Brazil, it looks exceptionally pretty in full bloom. It has lush green and attractive foliage, paired along the muscular branches. Its twiners are quite strong that can cling to almost anything, even bare brick walls. It can grow in chain link fencing and trellis as well. Once established, this hardy plant can tolerate coastal conditions, drought, frost, and even neglect. Plant it in a well-drained soil and semi-shade spot and give it plenty of water in summer.
