Buxus microphylla dwarf popularly known as the Korean Buxus is an evergreen slow-growing dwarf shrub. It has thick dark-green glossy foliage and is great for pots, low hedges, borders, and rockeries. This plant requires low maintenance, but should be planted in well-drained soil. It is mostly grown as an ornamental plant in temperate areas all over the world. It prefers full sun to partly shaded areas and evenly moist soil. It tolerates pruning, but it should be avoided prior to the last spring frost date.
