Australian native shrub or small tree with wonderful, silvery-grey foliage.
FEATURES: Fast-growing shrub with upright or spreading branches and highly ornamental, soft-textured stems and leaves. The foliage is covered in silky hairs which creates a shining, silvery appearance and makes the plant pleasant to touch. Small, red flowers, attractive to birds, are produced throughout the year but mainly in Spring and Summer.
CONDITIONS: Requires very well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Tolerates sandy, and gravelly soils, dry conditions, frost and coastal conditions. FOR BEST RESULTS: Trim lightly after flowering if required.
