Lagerstroemia Hopi is a dwarf variety with a clump of bright pink flowers that are produced during the summer. Commonly known as Crepe Myrtle, are best grown in well-drained, average to medium moisture soils. The plant is perfect as a small tree or a shrub and can be positioned as a perennial border in cottage gardens. During the autumn season the leaves of ‘Hopi’ turn to shades of yellow, red, and orange. This striking, attractive plant does well in clay and loamy soils with good drainage and greatly benefits from a slow release fertilizer.
