An aromatic, gorgeous-looking perennial is native to the Atlantic islands. It has gray-green, zigzag foliage with long stems. Belongs to the family of Lamiaceae, the perennial is also believed to be used as herbal remedy for stomach ache. Grows up to 24 inches tall, Lavender Dentata bears purple flowers with narrow spikes and pale violet bracts that fill the surrounding with lavender’s fragrance. Though flower blooms from July to August, the plant is in leaf all year long. The plant needs bright sunlight to grow along with dry or moist soil.
