Xanthorrhoea johnsonii B 1-10cm trunk

A long-lived, Australian native with spectacular
foliage and form reaching up to 2m high.

FEATURES: A slow growing Australian
perennial with arching grass like foliage usually
emerging from a thickened central black,
trunk-like, stem. These plants are protected
because of their slow growth rate. which is
approx. 10mm per annum. At approx 20 years
a trunk will be formed but prior to this only the
foliage is featured. Flowers may appear after 7
years during Spring and Summer, consisting of a
towering spike up to 2m high, smothered in tiny
white flowers.
CONDITIONS: Suited to well-drained sails in
full sun. Tolerant of dry conditions.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Make sure the root ball is
undisturbed when planting or repotting
